Residents and railroad employees describe their deep connection with and daily dependence upon the railroad. Personal experiences, archival documents, film and video, slides, photographs, posters, and artifacts chronicle the history of railroad development in Winchester, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Charlottesville, Lexington, Clifton Forge, Elkton, Luray, and Swoope.
